Kathleen Roddy, owner of K Roddy Design, grew up with a passion for plants and outdoor living, tending to grapevines and vegetable gardens in her hometown in Virginia. Now designing outdoor dining spaces for local restaurants and herb gardens on balconies, her goal has always been to find new ways of living more al fresco (in the open air), even in the smallest of spaces.
She graduated from The Landscape Institute of Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University in 2008. Combining her formal training with a keen sense of color, texture, and design flow, she works with the unique conditions of each site to create a sustainable landscape that seamlessly integrates into the surrounding environment.
